Output File Naming Convention Dialog
Used to create an output file naming convention component that determines how new rendition documents and files are named.
Opens when you right-click the Output File Naming Conventions node (under Rendition Profile Components) and select .
| Setting | Description |

| Name | Sets the name of the component. |
| Description | Sets a description for the component. |
| Rendition document name pattern | Defines the naming convention that will be used to generate the names of the new rendition documents. |
| Rendition base file name pattern | Defines the naming convention that will be used to generate the names of the new rendition files. |
| Rendition description pattern | Defines the naming convention that will be used to generate the descriptions of the new rendition documents. |
| Add Symbol | To define any of the naming conventions above, you can manually enter the text and/or variables you want to use directly in the text field (for example, if you already know the syntax of the available variables). If you want to select from a list of system and ProjectWise variables, click the Add Symbol button to the right of each text field, which opens the Add Symbol dialog. The variable you select from the dialog will be inserted wherever your cursor is placed in the text field. |
| Do not add rendition extension to document name | If off (default), the extension of the new rendition file is
automatically appended to the name of the new rendition document.
Turn this option on only if you do not want the extension of the new rendition file to be appended to the name of the new rendition document. |
